Excellence Marketing opens Arizona office, will represent IED

Phoenix, AZ. – Excellence Marketing, based in Eden Prairie, MN has opened a branch office in Phoenix, AZ to begin service to customers in the State of Arizona. Located in Tempe, AZ, the Southwest Division of Excellence Marketing will carry select audio & video product lines to market to music & sound retailers, contractors, integrators and distributors. Operations commenced June 1, 2005. The Arizona office will be initially be staffed by Ken Simons, President and Christie Dean, Office Manager. All centralized support functions will be handled by the main office in Eden Prairie (Minneapolis), MN.

In a related move, Innovative Electronic Designs (IED) and LAN*COM (a division of IED) announced the selection of Excellence Marketing Southwest to represent their product lines in Arizona. The announcement was made jointly by Mark Lewellyn, VP/Marketing of IED and Van Williamson, General Manager of LAN-COM. IED is the world leader for intelligent digital paging and announcement systems for airports, convention centers, health-care facilities, industrial campuses and themed-entertainment venues. LAN-COM builds specialized communications systems for schools with a focus on security features for student and staff safety.

Commenting on the move, Ken Simons noted "The opportunity to do business in Arizona is truly exciting for many reasons. Our initial research tells us that our service and approach will succeed and that the market demands highly specialized representation.
